[It's probably a bit earlier than usual that it occurs to Nem that maybe the reason Req's been so chatty has to do with more than just the fact that nighttime is awful in general and this night is awful in particular, and while Requiem is her own person who can take care of herself, it's not a big deal to stop by the house extra early and check in, just in case]
