Got further than I did. Anyways-- I think he's into it. One of our new guys slit his throat, and he told him he wanted 'im to do it or something, it was weird. So even if you'd got 'im this time, maybe he woulda just been weird about it.
I don't even know how it happened, but I guess the others're talking the Jets and the Sharks down from a revenge party. I don't got much skin in the game either way, just...
I'm thinking more of the ones from if you come back beat up again 'cause there wasn't anybody to watch your back. Hurricane might have a couple for that case, too, since that's apparently higher value.
There's a difference between intentionally putting you in a situation where you might get hurt and being thrown into one by circumstance!
The second is whatever, that's just how this place IS, but the first-- that's not "getting by" that's willfully disregarding your safety. I would never shrug off your help if I needed it! But I'm not gonna ring you up at 3am and be like "hey meet me at the station so I can murder Lucifel, kinda felt like watching you bleed out in front of me tonight even if we do succeed."
I care too much about you to want that. And I get you feel the same way, but-- ... I dunno.
I do know. I got one skill, and it's being stabbed, so may as well take advantage of that for something worth something for once!
[...takes a breath to (somewhat) rein herself in, wrapping her arms around herself more tightly]
Look-- I know sometime stuff just--happens. I'm not saying you gotta go outta your way or anything, I just-- I can help, okay? I been practicing, I won't slow you down.
Re: 127, afternoon
[ with a disgusted tone, her expression darkening a little. ]
... m'done with her, too.
Re: 127, afternoon
If you'd said something. I could've helped, maybe.
Re: 127, afternoon
[ pauses. ]
We should get some of those scars bought off, baby. In case we get something like the hunger games again.
Re: 127, afternoon
And--yeah...yeah, I guess so.
Re: 127, afternoon
Re: 127, afternoon
Re: 127, afternoon
[ definitely looks kinda hurt though. but. waves a hand. ]
... whatever, enough about that. Nothing really came of it anyway. Obviously I failed.
Re: 127, afternoon
Re: 127, afternoon
[ taps her eye scar. but. ]
... not Griffin, right? He seems like a softy.
Re: 127, afternoon
Re: 127, afternoon
[ seems. unsure. ]
Kinda sucks he's the one who gets first blood on the guy, but. Hey.
Re: 127, afternoon
[shrugs]
I dunno. Something's wrong with that guy.
Re: 127, afternoon
[ leans back against the window edge a bit ]
Re: 127, afternoon
[folds her arms and is silent for a few beats]
...I don’t gotta be in all your business. But if you want backup, don’t feel like you can’t ask me, okay?
Re: 127, afternoon
But I'm not gonna put you in harm's way for no reason, either.
Re: 127, afternoon
Re: 127, afternoon
Also Hurricane would make sad faces at me and honestly that's the worst thing here.
Re: 127, afternoon
Re: 127, afternoon
But if you're just making sad faces because I won't take you on Requiem's Stupid Suicide Run v2 that's just a chance I'm gonna have to take, sorry.

... next time I'll bring you with me. Okay?
