[ she shifts a little to let her move, shifting onto her back, but leaving her hand against nem's side. ]

... if you wanna hide, don't you have a bedroom?

[ with some amusement, quiet. ]

I don't wanna hide. I just don't wanna get caught.

[it's totally different??]

[ laughing, softly, and draws both hands back, holding them palms-up as if placating ]

We can get not caught in your bed? I'll keep my hands to myself and everything.

Thaaat's a little much. Plus, sneaking out of there would be 1000 percent worse...

I could always jump out the window if you got those, but. Yeah. I get you.

[ she laughs, lightly, and reaches up to gently cup her cheeks. ]

... kiss?

[alas, no windows...yet another reason she doesn't like sleeping in there]

[her cheeks are unsurprisingly warm, but she dips in readily for the kiss. She covers Req's hands with hers, light]

[ yeessss this is the best morning. req's definitely warmer than in previous kisses, since she's been bundled up on the couch all night, thankfully.

but her fingers curl gently against nemesis's jaw, and her other arm drapes over her shoulder, humming lightly against her lips. ]

[makes an answering sound from the back of her throat. with some effort her touch stays delicate as she brushes over Req's hair, traces up an ear]

[ she's content for the moment to lazily(sleepily?) kiss her, lips parting only somewhat; the touch sends an obvious shiver down her spine with a tiny intake of breath. ]

[a different hum this time, but she leaves her ears alone after that, pulling back just to drop a kiss on her nose instead.]

Go sleep. Take advantage of the peace while you can.

[ a tiny huff, faintly pouting. But she sinks her hand into nem's hair to pull her into another kiss, brief and sweet, before letting her go to settle her arms back around her waist again and snuggle in. ]

Alright...

[Hums a no problem-sort of hum, comfortable.

Eventually, a much later afterthought:]

...Not a cat.

[ you're definitely a stray cat tho.

Perhaps thankfully by then she's already asleep, contentedly huddled in, legs tangled up with nem's.

At least she'll be likely to wake up enough to let nem escape in a couple hours if she'd rather not be seen doing something so lewd as cuddling on a couch. ]

[why not canines though!!!

Nemesis doesn't let herself fall asleep for real, but save for gently jostling their legs every so often, dutifully stays put so as not to disturb Requiem. Incidentally the flush on her cheeks doesn't really decrease any at all, no matter how long she waits]

[ canines dont slink around like nervous cats. also do u really wanna be called puppy, thats so less cute!!

here's hoping you didn't get a fever with all that making out/gettin frisky in the snow tho during the game, geez. if nothing else, a barely awake vampire seems pretty happy with the extra warmth. ]

[Yes, "puppy" is unacceptable, but more importantly she doesn't "slink," she stalks and strides and moves decisively, gosh

And--no, any fevers she may display have a lot more to do with being a teenager than any germs or viruses fortunately(?)--at any rate, the chill of a mostly asleep vampire isn't considered a minus]

[ yes of course. just like a (big) cat.

whenever nem starts to move again she'll uncurl from her a little-- the ears and tail are definitely gone by now-- and stretches, languidly, which. At her height, probably gets arms and legs stretching past the edges of the couch.

but she's happy to resettle her limbs and lightly lean her head to nem's. ]

... time is it?

[barks at visitors and is often sorry after breaking shit irreparably, that is definitely not a cat thing though]

[at any rate, mission "extricate herself without being noticed" seems like a failure but watching Req wake is at least as interesting as watching her sleep, in the least creepery way possible ////]

[ oh. yeah that's true. kitty is still sticking tho.

and hey, let's less creep when you're smooching that face, tbf. she lazily settles an arm over her again, kinda limply. ]

She hums a little, cracking open an eye. it's still probably just dark enough that the red glows a little, but.

she slowly moves her arm. ]

M'kay... have fun?

[has feelings about this but eventually levers herself up and to a standing position, stretching out herself. then she leans in to drop a kiss on her forehead]

...Laters, okay?

[ grins, all fangs, but it's tired and fades quick.

She gently touches nem's cheek then turning her hand to tug playfully on some hair. ]
