[ aannnd true to her word like 10 mins later there's a tap on her window ]

[opens it, the curtains pushed open wide for the light. her room is as kind of sterile looking as last time Req was there, only a few papers on the desk giving the illusion of being lived in]

...Hey.

Mornin. I got you bagel. Toasty and butter.

[ pops that in her hand as she floats in, and a mug of hot tea.

she's just got some cranberry juice for herself. ]

Uh, thanks.

[gestures her into the room; there's a carved wooden chair at the desk, and the cushioned window seat in addition to the bed]

Wherever you wanna sit, guess we should get this over with.

[ perches on the window seat, sure. ]

Hey. This doesn't...

[ a pause, hunching her shoulders a little. ]

... this is just something we're hashing out together, right? It doesn't... have to be painful, or anything. [ or a business transaction. ] ... spending time with you is spending time with you, no matter how.

[leans against the closest poster of the bed, not quite casual, then looks away]

This kinda thing isn't really my forte, so.

Anyways, uh. Guess we should. Start?

[ sips at her drink a little, staring into the cup ]

So... um. Do you... want, other people? Like... keep your options open, I guess...? In general.
