☆radia: I know there's probably a lot that you have to do, but are you busy?

[ no response for like, an hour or two. but ]

requiem: hey i just got back whats up

☆radia: Do you want to go to the store?

requiem: sure where r u

☆radia: I'm in the rainy day room. I'll come to meet you at your room, okay?

[ which she is in fact doing, just getting on up and heading to the bedrooms to wait for req in the hall ]

[ req comes out after a couple of minutes, dressed in... pjs and a coat.

she looks a little drained and tired, but. ]

'Kay... where we goin'?

[ there's the tiniest moment where she looks just the smallest bit. surprised? shocked? to see her, but it's quick to fade - she seems oddly tired herself, with a bit of redness around her eyes, but she too has the pjs-and-coat coordinate going, flashing a tiny smile ]

Um, if you're feeling tired, then it's okay if you want to stay home instead...! I don't mind.

[ ... oh ]

Were you-- crying? Are you okay?

- Mm. I'm okay. I was just . . .

[ a pause, she can practically see the gears turning as she tries to come up with something, but, ]

... I don't really know why it happened... But I'm okay now. I couldn't really sleep, because... well, because of that I thought that I wanted to make something, but Doodle's with Luci right now, and I saw that you'd just gotten back, so I thought you'd be awake - so I wanted to ask you if you wanted to go with me, I think...

[ ah,

hesitates, a moment, to fire off a text. but then puts her phone away and floats over to dia. ]

... you wanna talk about it? I mean, we can walk and talk, or stay here, or-- still go to the store.

... Let's go to the store, okay?

[ a pause - ]

Um . . . well, we can talk about a lot of different things while we walk, and while I cook - right...?

Yeah... whatever you want.

[ adjusting her bag on her shoulder before starting to walk out the door slowly, keeping pace with req ]

... Are you okay?

Huh? Yeah, I'm good. Just-- tired.

[ floats along with her, quiet for a moment, before putting a hand over where her heart should be. ]

... feels kind of weird. Did something happen while I was gone? I had a weird dream.

There was a game, earlier...

Do you remember what you dreamed about?

Uh-- yeah, pretty clearly.

[ a pause ]

Was it another thing with souls or whatever, like what happened to me a while back?

Mm, it was like that -

A lot of us went into Doodle's heart, and I saw a few people in Shrike's, too...

I kind of... remember something, with Doodles.

I think mostly I was in Hurricane's. I definitely died though.

- Are you okay?!

[ gestures to herself with a crooked smile ]

I'm here, aren't I? S'fine, I think.

... bad at the time, and my chest feels weird now, but... it's fine.

[ frownss ]

... Does it hurt...?

... yeah, kind of. It's weird. ... um, maybe it's weirder to say, but it's kind of nice too? Since I... y'know, it's not like I have a heartbeat or anything normally.

[ ... averts her eyes, just a bit ]

If it starts to hurt too much, then I have medicine at home too, okay...?

[ shakes her head ]
